Guest Experience & Facility Policies

Respect and Courtesy

We ask all guests to treat fellow attendees, staff, and performers with respect and courtesy at all times. Our staff is here to help—please follow any instructions provided, including emergency procedures or event-related requests. Disruptive behavior or actions that interfere with another guest’s experience may result in removal from the facility.

Safety and Security

To maintain a secure environment, all guests are subject to bag checks upon entry. Prohibited items include (but are not limited to):

  • Backpacks and oversized bags
  • Outside food or beverages, including bottles and cans
  • Coolers
  • Fireworks, weapons, or any dangerous devices
  • Noise-making items such as air horns, megaphones, or whistles
  • Laser pointers, projectiles, and drones

Guests found with prohibited or contraband items will be asked to discard them or may be removed from the premises.

Cameras & Recording Devices

Camera use varies by event.

  • Professional cameras with detachable lenses and flash attachments are not allowed without written permission from management.
  • Video recording devices and audio recorders are not permitted.
  • Digital cameras may be allowed, depending on the event.
  • Cameras are permitted during Graduation Ceremonies.

Accessibility Services

We are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible environment:

  • All entrances are ADA-compliant.
  • Accessible restrooms are located throughout the facility.
  • ADA seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Designated ADA parking is available around the Coliseum (limited availability).

Animals

Only service animals specifically trained to assist guests with disabilities are permitted inside the complex. Pets or other animals are not allowed.

Guest Appearance

Guests must wear appropriate attire, including shirts and shoes, at all times. Exceptions may be made for specific themed events with prior approval from management.

Alcohol and Intoxication

For the safety of everyone, visibly intoxicated guests will not be permitted into any Burton Complex facility. Guests who become intoxicated during an event may be asked to leave. If denied entry due to intoxication, a refund will be provided at the box office.

Smoking Policy

The Burton Complex is a smoke-free facility, including the use of electronic cigarettes. Smoking is prohibited inside all public areas and venues.

Entry and Re-Entry

Please note that we enforce a no re-entry policy at all facilities once your ticket has been scanned.

Ticket Sales

Ticket scalping or unauthorized selling of tickets on the property is not allowed and will result in prosecution.

Drones & Airspace

For the safety and privacy of all, drones and unmanned aircraft are strictly prohibited over or around any part of the Burton Complex grounds, including parking areas.
